Christine is a classic pose of mother and child and was commissioned by her grown up daughter Helen, represented by the child in this sculpture.
The statuette was modelled in wax approximately ¼ life scale and captures both subject's likeness perfectly.
The figure is 230 mm in height excluding base is beautifully crafted in a cold cast bronze with a dark stain patina.
